Father to Colby and Elliott.
I don't have the patience for part-time friends or nosy family members. Yes, I know you look :D
Joe the everyday, casual guy is a sarcastic and quite cynical fella. I enjoy loud music and sports (tragically typical, I know). I play several instruments and think there is no better form of music than LIVE music. I dig the outdoors, parks and beaches. My family is numero uno to me. I can't stand "part time friends" and really hate our current economic and government situations. I wish I had time to picket next to the "pro-life" crowds outside of abortion clinics with "pro choice" signs. I hate olives.
Joe the Husband and Father is one of those weird, non-typical, "crunchy" Dads. I baby-wear, cloth diaper, promote non-circ, prefer midwives and doulas over OB's, support VBAC, home births, take an extremely active role in all aspects of parenthood (not just the fun and easy ones), I taught my daughter (and will teach my son) sign language rather than waiting for her to talk in complete sentences. I supported my wife on all decisions she made concerning her pregnancy and birth. I enjoy taking the family to a park or beach, to the zoo or aquarium. Oh, and I help clean the house. Strange, I know...
